What is the Lydia Project?
Lydia Project puts the spotlight on your talents. As AllianceWOMEN, we want to support and encourage you in your gifting-- sewing, painting, crafting, and / or writing. We would encourage up to three (3) vendors at a Fall Connections venue.
Please request a "spot" (table) by filling out this request form (below) and send to our AW Director. She will then contact you as to availability.
Remember Lydia? She had a business selling expensive purple cloth. Her heart was wide open to the things of God. She was obedient to the Word of God. She and her household found faith in God. She was a gracious and "forceful" hostess. The following account of Lydia found in Acts 16 reads: On the Sabbath we (Paul and Silas) went a little way outside the city to a riverbank, where we thought people would be meeting for prayer and we sat down to speak with some women who had gathered there. One of them was LYDIA from Thyatira, a merchant of expensive purple cloth, who worshipped God. As she listened to us, the Lord opened her heart, and she accepted what Paul was saying. She was baptized along with other members of her household, and she asked us to be her guests. “If you agree that I am a true believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my home.” And she urged us until we agreed.
